Strong Schools. Supported Teachers. Engaged Community.

A city that builds well starts with its schools.

I will continue working to ensure our School Board receives the resources needed not just to maintain our schools, but to improve them. Our children deserve classrooms that prepare them for real opportunity.

That means:

  • Supporting competitive pay for teachers and school employees.

  • Encouraging incentives that attract and retain quality educators.

  • Strengthening community involvement so parents, churches, businesses, and neighbors are active partners in our schools.

When teachers feel supported, students succeed. When students succeed, Suffolk grows stronger.

Public Safety That Earns Trust

You should feel safe in your home.

  • In your car.

  • In your store.

  • In your place of worship.

  • On your street.

Effective policing and firefighting are not optional services. They are the backbone of a healthy city.

I will continue working to ensure our police, fire, and rescue personnel are properly funded so their pay, equipment, and training remain among the best possible.

We must:

  • Recruit the best candidates.

  • Train them well.

  • Retain them for the long term.

And just as important, we must build trust between citizens and those who protect us. A strong relationship between the community and first responders is the key to safe neighborhoods.

Public safety is strongest when it is rooted in partnership.

Fiscal Responsibility That Respects Your Dollar

I am a fiscal conservative because I am a taxpayer.

Every dollar collected from Suffolk families should be spent wisely.

I will continue to review tax rates annually to ensure they remain appropriate for both real estate and personal property. We must never lose sight of the burden that taxes place on working families and retirees.

I will also work to maintain Suffolk’s outstanding credit rating so that when we borrow, we do so at the best possible market rates. Strong financial stewardship protects our future and lowers long-term costs for our citizens.

Growth requires investment. Investment requires discipline.

Smart Growth. Thoughtful Development.

Suffolk is growing. The question is not whether we grow. The question is how.

Effective and orderly development of our land is critical to maintaining our rural character and quality of life.

I will continue to:

  • Encourage strong economic development focused on bringing good, high-paying jobs to Suffolk.

  • Make it easier for quality companies to locate in areas already zoned and prepared for responsible development.

  • Support a broad range of housing options so the people who work in Suffolk can afford to live in Suffolk.

Growth should create opportunity without sacrificing identity.

A Vibrant Downtown

A healthy downtown reflects a healthy city.

I will continue supporting incentives that help small businesses start, expand, and stay in downtown Suffolk. An inviting Main Street with local shops and restaurants strengthens our entire community.

Downtown should feel alive. Welcoming. Proud.

Roads and Infrastructure That Keep Up

We have all experienced it. Traffic on roads that were never designed to handle today’s volume.

Improving infrastructure is not glamorous work, but it is necessary work.

I will continue seeking State and Federal funding to improve our roads and reduce congestion. Growth must be supported by smart infrastructure planning.

We cannot build houses and businesses without building the roads that serve them.

What Serving You Means to Me

Being your representative on City Council is not about titles. It is about responsibility.

It means:

  • Listening more than speaking.

  • Respecting every voice in our borough.

  • Studying the issues carefully before making decisions.

  • Communicating clearly about matters that come before Council.

  • Helping residents navigate and access the services available to them.

If you call me, I will respond. If you have a concern, I will listen. If there is a solution, I will work to find it.

My leadership will feel accessible.
